I head there were thousands of earmarks, and the article says there are 8,570. Obama pledged to not let any pork get across his desk, but no word from him on a veto. I saw some politician (Democrat) say something like "that's last years business" as if Obama should just ignore the pork. But, it's going through congress and onto his desk in his administration. I sure hope he does like he said he would and cut the pork out of it. I know he won't, because he's a phony.
