Dexter
I don't have Showtime (I have HBO, which is pretty worthless), so didn't get to see this show. But, now that it's on regular TV, we've been watching it.. and loving it.
Michael C. Hall does an excellent job, and is interesting to watch if you also saw
Six Feet Under (which was one of the only things which made HBO decent). I also find it fun to watch a serial killer which is likable! You can't feel so much hatred for him when he's "Taking out the trash."
But, sorry CBS. We'll now be watching this show on DVD. There is a tinge of "we're missing something" due to the editing. Not just the "bad language", but who knows if we're missing something else due to it being on the network, or being edited for commercials. So, Netflix to the rescue. We'll watch the next episode on TV, then start on disk 2 of the DVDs.
But, great show. Maybe we should switch to Showtime for a while. I also hear
Weeds is a good show, and I've always liked
Penn & Teller: Bullshit! HBO now only has three shows I like;
Curb Your Enthusiasm,
Entourage and
Big Love. No more
Oz,
Sopranos,
Deadwood,
Six Feet Under (which did end at a good time),
Rome, or
Da Ali G Show. And for movies.. eh. I'm unimpressed with their cycle of new movies. By time they play them, if the play them at all (no
Reno 911! no
DaVinci Code), I've already rented them. But, if you are a fan of
The Wire, you can see it at almost any time. I digress...
Dexter.. good.
