Uh.. did my cable go out? I rewind.. nope, didn't seem to go out. I recorded a later showing on HBOW.. same deal, so that REALLY WAS the ending.

Huh? I mean, WTF. Each season ends with the sitting and having dinner together. Great. But, is it happily ever after? C'mon.. after watching this show for so many years, waiting way too long between seasons, and even sitting through a few lame seasons I was really hoping for some sort of closure on this show. But, no.. can't have that. It's left up to our imagination.

So, my imagination says Carmela chokes on something during dinner (let's say a cannoli), AJ ends up being gay since his depression is really an internal struggle on his sexuality, Meadow ends up working at the Bing longing for that father figure Tony isn't and distraught by the cannoli incident, and Tony stays Tony.

Really, disappointing finale.
