U.S. Mail Charges Increase, New 'Forever' Stamp Goes on Sale

I really should give the USPO my mailing address so they could send me a note to tell me that prices are increasing. I think I have yet to every know it's going to happen until it happens. So, yet again, the 50 stamps I have now I can't mail anything with without going to buy new stamps to add to those stamps. I was even at the post office last week, and don't recall any signage saying "BUY $.02 STAMPS, PRICE INCREASE ON MONDAY". Imagine that! That would have alerted me to the the increase BEFORE the increase while I was actually AT the place which sells stamps.
