Short 'Drive': Show yanked after two episodes - CNN.com
Honestly, I didn't mind the show too much. It was part Cannonball Run, part 24 and part other unoriginal things. But, it kept my attention and I likely would have watched to see if they reached the finish line (if they didn't, I wouldn't watch another season hoping they would).
But "Drive" never clicked with viewers, and its two low-rated airings on Monday seemed to hurt its leadout, "24," which posted its lowest adults 18-49 rating for an original episode in more than three years.
Know why 24 had suck low rating? I'll tell you.. PEOPLE DON'T CARE ABOUT AUDREY. Once the terrorists were killed, and the nukes were safe, they should have left well enough alone. Once the Chinese called saying they would kill Audrey, I was screaming at the TV "LET THEM!!"
If you ask me, this is 24 jumping the shark. Audrey and the Jack/Audrey relationship isn't something people who watch 24 really care about, let alone him risking what's being risked to save her. So, I don't think "Drive" hurt "24", people just don't care about this "24" storyline.
