The opera had a scene where there is a presentation of the severed heads of Poseidon, Muhammad, Jesus and Buddha. In fear that Buddhists would be rioting in the streets, they decided to pull the opera. Wait, no, it wasn't the Buddhists it was the Christians who they feared would be offended and riot. Sorry, that's not right.. it were the old-time Greeks who worship Poseidon.
