Anyone notice that the word "bitch" in the derogatory sense now seems to be ok in prime time? I'm not sure exactly when this happened, but it has. Also, the word "ass" seems to be ok now, just when it's not attached to the word "hole". And, not just in shows where maybe you'd expect it (adult dramas and comedy) but "family" shows you may expect people to watch with their kids, like American Idol and Big Brother.

I know I was really surprised this past season of American Idol when they were bleeping people so much in the first episodes. I'm waiting for Kyla to ask why words are "bad" when so many people seem to use these words. Even when you don't know what the words are, when you hear "bleep bleep bleep" you know they are using "bad" words. At some point, you can wonder why they are "bad" or why it's bad to use them since people seem to.
