I agree on this. I think it was wrong for the New York Times to disclose a secret, lawful, effective program to help track terrorists and the movement of their money. This program wasn't like the legally questionable eavesdropping program, it was perfectly legal. And, effective. It was very irrisponsible to publish a story on it.
