CNN.com - Iran threat to block inspections - Jan 13, 2006

Now, I'm going to say that Bush somehow say 'Iraq' instead of 'Iran' at some important meeting and we ended up invading the wrong country. I'm not going to say that we invaded a country over faulty intelligence, when another country needed no intelligence to see what they were doing.

But, what I will say is that we did invade the wrong country. The leader of Iran, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is simply an insane guy. He seems to be taking the Kim Jong-il approach of diplomacy.. say crazy whacked out shit, and see what happens. It doesn't take a scholar to see that a country which says Israel should be wiped out and has declined Russias attempts to provide nuclear power because they want to do it themselves is up to. Personally, I think Ahmadinefool wants to not only make nuclear weapons to wipe out Israel, but also to provide to any Islamic lunatic who has the money or means to kill us.

I see Iran as a poweder keg. If we do nothing, we are in danger, and if we do something then it somehow will be "against Islam". I mean, you can't sneeze without it being against Islam these days. I think Iran should be treated like a bad dog. Tell them to stop it, and if they don't, the UN (not the US.. the UN should actually DO something) should do air strikes and take the facilities out of the equation. The international equivilent of rolling up a newspaper and swatting Iran on the nose.

Anyone else completely tired of this region of the world?
