Which One?

Ez Bar

or

Easy Rider

The first is embarassingly long, but may be better. I like the double handle. The second seems pretty easy, but wonder if there could be less control. One handle, but it's closer to the bike.

Decisions.. decisions...

I'd go with http://www.goezbar.com/ because it has 2 handles for the adult versus the other which has only 1. Why 2 handles? When the child's bike falls sideways, it will generate torque with the point of rotation being the interface between the tires and the ground. Remember, torque is force around a point. It will be a lot easier to overcome this torque and stabilize the bike with 2 handles than 1. The whole point of this device is so you can generate a torque in the opposite direction that you're child's bike is falling in and prevent injury. - Oingo

Yes, but the other one isn't so long, so the control should be there. If it was one handle at that length, there would be no control. At the distance the Easy Rider is, it should be easy to control. The torque will be generated by my arm at close range, as opposed to a 30 degree swivel located 6 feet away.

I do like the Ez Bar in that it has a disconnect latch. That way I don't have to use any tools when she wants to just ride around and not look stupid with a huge bar coming from the back of her bike. Of course, she'll look odd with me running behind her with a wheelbarrow looking thing.

I ordered the Ez Bar. We'll see how it works.
