What the hell is up with these these days? I remember "back in the day" when it was still taboo to do this. The rings where usually simple and it was more of a "I'm different" thing to do. Now it seems every chick has one. And, not just simple ones, but large shiny ones. Soon, people will be hanging car hood ornaments on them.

But really, what's up with that? It looks so dumb to have a large shiny thing hanging in your belly button. It looks like someone left the foil from a stick of gum in your navel on their 'way up'. Do (other) guys really think this is sexy? Shiny belly button lint? I think it's silly.

Don't get me started on the meaningless tribal tattoos women seem to be getting in droves right above their asses. You can barely tell the strippers from non-strippers these days!
