Movies from the weekend

I already mention I, Robot and that I, wasn't too impressed.

Home For The Holidays - I think that was the name. Ben Affleck rents a family and all. Couple funny parts, overall, pretty bad.

Racing Stripes - I took Kyla to see this on Saturday. Was pretty cute, and we both enjoyed it.

Passion of the Christ - Was pretty good. Hell, I didn't know it was a comedy! Kidding, kidding. Since it was based off the gospels, I can't say it was anti-semetic like so many did. If the movie is, then the gospels were. I think it shows a lot of the fear in people of anything different. And, I'd expect people who are looking for their Messiah to want to kill anyone who says they are it. Eh, too early to wax philisophical. I enjoyed the movie and thought it was well done. I do think that it could have been a little longer to better introduce the WHY he was being persecuted. WHY the Jews wanted him dead. Not just "he's a blasphemer". Heck, is probably everyone reading this. What set him apart as THE blasphemer. Maybe we'll get a prequel!
