Kyla's class voted for who would be president. Bush won 70% to 30%. Kyla voted for Bush. Why would she do such a crazy thing? Because he has a dog and a cat with cute names, and Kerry only has a bird.
Wouldn't it be great if it were that easy?
Posted by Kevin at November 02, 2004 03:59 PMThis looks bad. Just watching the votes come in live on Sky news and it looks like a win for Bush. How could half of America be that mad? Maybe they too are animal lovers and have pets with cute names.
If only Kerry had bought a rabbit and named it Floppsy...
Posted by: Justin Cavnor on November 3, 2004 3:38 AMI've read the liberal ramblings by Kevin and others on this site for quite a while now, and thought I would throw in my two cents.
Stick a Fork in Kerry/Edwards. He's Done. HAHAHA.
In Retrospect, the Dems should have picked Dean. Far more charima.
Posted by: Remingtonh on November 3, 2004 2:25 PMI'm not really a liberal. I'm a social libertarian, but conservative in many things. I just don't think Bush has done a good job, and don't want to wait out 4 more years to see if he can do better. I think Kerry could have done better, and certainly not worse.
If Dean was the Dem candidate, I would have voted for Bush, even though I would still bash him.
Posted by: Kevin on November 3, 2004 2:35 PMKayla's school did the same thing. She said that she voted for Kerry even though she was told that he was planning on cancelling Halloween.
Thats my girl!
Oh, and Kerry won! At least in Margate Elementary. Sniff.
Posted by: Kell on November 3, 2004 3:27 PMwhen i was in 6th grade, we had a mock vote in our class via the scholastic "poll" of 6th graders and we all voted for bush sr. for the 1992 election. to this day i have no idea why. my parents HATED bush sr., so i never told them that i voted for him even in something as silly as a fake election.
