Logos Game?

Last night I watched a CSI I had recorded. One of the cases was at a Logos tourny. Logos was a game, but I can't find any info on it. I assume it's real, but whenever I search for "logos game" I get a bunch of results for logos, and not a game named Logos.

Anyone heard of this game? Any info/links on it?

Hi.
I just saw the same episode of CSI on DVD. (My wife and I are big fans of TV on DVD and the fourth season of CSI came out only a week or two ago.)

I was wondering what LOGOS was myself, so I hopped online to do some research - which is how I found your post. After seeing the whole episode and finding nothing on the game, I'm pretty sure that the whole LOGOS thing is just a knockoff of Scrabble. After all, there's all kinds of legal issues to deal with if they use the name Scrabble. All the rules, however, appear to be the same - the challenging, the bonuses, the double and triple scores. So, I think it's just a clever renaming to avoid legal troubles. Hope this helps!

Yeah, unfortunately I think it was made up. But, it looked really interesting. There must be someone out there who at least made up rules for it. Looks like it would be an excellent game.

I think the game logos as shown in the show CSI Episode bad words is another name for Scrabble but that is copyrighted so they could not get permission.

Please get back to me if you think im right

saw the same episode!!!! we play a game using the scrabble pieces that looked just like the Logos game on CSI. to play; all the scrabble pieces are turned upside down in the center of the table. each player takes 7 pieces to start. the pieces remain turned over until everyone is ready. someone says start, and all the players turn over their 7 pieces and form a cross word with them. when a player has used all the pieces they yell...take two....and everyone must take 2 more pieces. once those are fit in, then someone says take two, until all the pieces in the center are gone. the first person to use all of their letters in a crossword yells.... stop. then you add the pieces(like regular scrabble)...the trick is any player with unused pieces has to subtract those from their total. the person who finished first get a 25 point bonus. each player can rearrange their puzzle at any time while play is active. this game is so fun, much faster and livelier than regular scrabble. hope you all give it a try. msbsue

I'm currently in the process of watching that episode on Spike TV (7pm ET). I too was searching for information on the Logos game. Msbsue that concepts sounds like fun, I hope to try that version of Scramble someday!
