Audi Chip

APR - High Performance Development for Audi Vehicles

This chip, $600 (but saw for less on eBay.. probably doesn't happen often) will add another 68HP to my car (for total of 318HP/382lb-ft). $350 for the one on eBay. But, I need to be practical!! If anyone wants to get me a belated birthday gift, this wouldn't be a bad one :-) Seems like decent bang/buck ratio on this one.

C'mon SlowGrandCherokee.. you know you want to get me this.

Sorry Kev, I'm tapped out.
I've never heard of such high gains from a performance chip/ecu. If it really adds that much hp, than it's an unbeatable deal. I guess Audi must have pretty restricted computers or something. Sounds like something that's hard to pass up.
I've been trying to figre out how I can afford a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4. I need one, and I need it badly. Very overlooked from a performance and style standpoint. 320hp stock, same as the Supra. Heavy, but Twin Turbo AWD with a 6speed. I don't think the motors are very stout though. I'm sure it could hang with a stock Supra. I was reading about one with 840hp without Nitrous. I'm not sure if they ran one big turbo or two pgraded ones. I was reading that with the way the motors set up, it would take a lot of tubing to make it work. I like the idea of twin turbos. That way, you can use 2 smaller turbos that will spool up faster than just 1 giant one that doesn't help until 6000 rpm or something. I'm obsessed with getting one and I'll do it eventually. You cn get them for pretty good prices on eBy, but mopst have high miles. Now, I can write a percentage of it off as a company vehicle. So, we'll see.

Yeah yeah.. nobody has spare bills for the K-meister! Anyways, first thing I need to do is get some floor mats!

I always liked the 3000GT. Not much else like it on the road, and peppy. For me, I'd probably choose a Supra though. I've always had a thing for Supras, and can't wait for them to come back.

The A6 has two smaller turbos, instead of a large one. You can feel it kick in much sooner, and gives a nice ride. Also, if one turbo bites the dust.. there's a spare! *cough*

There's only one GT3000 in my area that I know of, and it isn't a VR-4.
