Horrible. Terrible. Don't go see it! If your kid wants to see it, tell them to wait until it is on video or HBO. I'm a huge Dr. Suess fan, and think this movie never should have been made. The cartoon version of this was enough, and making this bastardized version should never have been done. The voice of the Cat (Mike Myers) was a mix between an old Jew and Dr. Evil with a hint of the Cowardly Lion. Terrible. The fish, which has a "big" part in the real story, was useless in the movie. The story was barely similar to the book, and there was barely any rhymes from the book. If, at the very least, the dialog of the movie was 70% rhymes, maybe it could have been tolerable. The good Dr. Suess must be spinning in his grave.

The only good thing about going was seeing the trailer for Shrek 2.
