Watched The Ring the other night. Not a bad movie. It was more eerie then scary, but a good horror/thriller movie. If you didn't know, Ringu is a Japanese movie which The Ring was based off of.
I'm still working my way through the Cowboy Bebop Boxset. Really great anime series. I have also been listening to much of the soundtrack... good stuff. Highly recommend this series.
I've watched My Neighbor Tortoro with Kyla about 30 times now. It's directed by Hayao Miyazaki, which did Spirited Away. Great movie for the kids.. but I'd rather watch Spirited Away 30 times. She loves Tortoro and is I do recommend it for parents. Anime or not, it's a good kids movie.
I watched The Animatrix last night. Good stuff. I was very tired at the time, so can't give a great review of it.. but I did enjoy it quite a bit. Animated shorts about the Matrix. Great concept.. different art styles for each short, which was very enjoyable. Any anime or Matrix fan should get this.
Just to mention it, but you can now pre-order The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers!
I also finished reading the Parasyte
manga series. Good series.. very enjoyable. Alan didn't like the ending, but I didn't mind it. I've also read the first 6 volumes of Priest. GREAT manga. Part western, part goth, part religion. Very good. I can't wait for the rest of the series to come out.
Hmmm.. that's basically it for right now. Buy and Enjoy!

I'll just have to make sure that Dave is home so when I spook myself out, he'll walk me to the kitchen so I don't have to go alone.

Also very clever how they link The Matrix-Animatrix:Final flight of the Osiris-Enter the Matrix Computer Game(Contains 1 hour of unseen video footage feat. Niobe and the information from the Osiris) and Matrix reloaded. Guess they know how to cash in!!!!

The Carrey movie is Jim Almighty, and not I haven't seen it yet. It does look pretty funny.
