Tennessee School District Sued Over Ties to Evangelistic Crusade
Ahhhhh... those tolerent Christian children. Maybe one day they will understand Christ!
Posted by Kevin at May 12, 2003 01:33 PMHeh. That's my old neck of the woods. My middle school was part of a big textbook scandal when I was there (I think it was a reading book that had a drawing of white kids playing with black kids or something idiotic like that).
Big fun in the Bible Belt! ;^)
the fact that the children were christian or athiest really is of no matter. if you know kids it could of been any number of reason.. race, class, ect. i dont know of one tolerent middle schooler at all times
Posted by: Nexxiss on May 13, 2003 1:16 AMThat's right Jake.. I forgot you were from that area :)
Nexxiss, this isn't a "could have been" it is a "it is about" situation. She is being picked on because of her religion, period. And, as Jake said, this is the Bible Belt. You would think people who are so die hard "Christians" would know Christ would NEVER have approved of this.
So, it is of matter... since that is what the article is about.
As Monty Python says: "Burn the witches!"
